We would like to mention that even though there are events going on in Dripping Springs in May 2020, we recommend that you still practice social distancing and the wearing of masks to mitigate the spread and reception of COVID-19. Now, on to May 2020 events:
Visit a State Park (with a Reservation)
Texas State Parks are starting open slowly and several near Dripping Springs, TX are opening with a reservation to a limited capacity. You can see a complete list here.
So far, Pedernales Falls State Park, Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center, and Reimer’s Ranch all seem to be open with specific capacity and limitations. Be sure to call or email the park before travel to make sure you can get in.
Treaty Oak Distillery “Quaranstream” Saturdays
When: Saturdays in May 2020, starting at 6pm
Why: This is one of the best livestream events out there, especially in Dripping Springs. Treaty Oak has been bringing in some pretty big names too and May 2020 shows no signs of stopping:

Notably, viewers can also purchase Treaty Oak booze online and get to-go orders from Alice’s Restaurant to go with the show.
DSHS Project Graduation BBQ Fundraiser @ 12 Fox Brewery
When: Wednesday, May 20, 5:30 – 8:00pm
Where: 12 Fox Brewery, 4700 W Fitzhugh Rd, Dripping Springs, TX 78620
Why: Support the Dripping Springs High School Class of 2020 Project Graduation Wednesday, May 20th from 5:30pm until they run out food. Barbecue aficionados, the Smokin’ Playas will be at 12 Fox grilling pulled pork tacos, pulled pork sandwiches, sausage wraps, and coleslaw for a donation with 100% of the proceeds going to DSHS’s Class of 2020 Project Graduation which plans fun giveaways and activities for this years Graduating Class. Dripping Springs Farmers Market – Wednesdays in May
When: Every Wednesday from 3 – 6pm
Where: Veterans Memorial Park – Hwy 290 and RR 12 Dripping Springs, Texas 78620
Why: The Dripping Springs Farmer’s Market is back in action every Wednesday from 3 – 6pm at Veterans Memorial Park. Come (safely) shop produce from local farmers, hear live music, and more!
