We’ve updated a lot of our events that were listed here that got canceled with current concerns around the outbreak of COVID-19. We left a few here to highlight some of the events that typically take place in Dripping Springs during the month of March.
Even though things have postponed or canceled, Dripping Springs leans heavily on SXSW events during the month of March. Since Dripping Springs and Austin are only 30 minutes apart, a lot of residents and tourists make the short trek to Capitol City for all kinds of events, entertainment, and more.
Vote in the Texas Primary Election
When: March 3, 2020
Where: Dripping Springs Ranch Park (1042 Event Center Drive, Dripping Springs, TX 78620), Hays County Precinct 4 Office (195 Roger Hanks Parkway, Dripping Springs, TX 78620)
Why: It’s that time! Go vote in the Texas primary election. There are two precinct where you can cast your vote. Polling places are open from 7am – 7pm.
Campfire Gathering Music Festival
When: March 16 – 18, 2020
Where: Camp Lucy Resort, 3509 Creek Road, Dripping Springs, TX 78620
Why: Camp Lucy Resort is hosting an inaugural music festival featuring roots, folk, Americana, indie, rock and more. Artists include Shakey Graves, Margo Price, Colter Wall, Orville Peck, Deer Tick, and White Denim and more. Attendees are encouraged to participate in all the activities that Camp Lucy resort has to offer. The festival runs from 6 p.m. (Mon.)-noon (Wed.). Three-day tickets start at $600. Revival Experience at Lucky Arrow Retreat
When: March 18
Where: Lucky Arrow Retreat, 3600 Bell Springs Rd, Dripping Springs, TX 78620
Why: Lucky Arrow is a boutique resort experience that features stylish lodgings, extremely accommodating amenities, and more. They’re going to be hosting a one-day music festival on the Lucky Arrow grounds. This one-day festival features music, food and activities for the whole family. On-site lodging at Lucky Arrow Retreat is also available for atendees. The festival runs from 12pm – 11 p.m. and tickets start at $229.
