Why: A unique event for quarter horse enthusiasts located in the heart of the Hill Country. Come out to Dripping Springs Ranch Park and get your eyes on some of the best quarters horses in the region. You can RSVP here.

Chili Cookoff at Belterra

 

When: February 16, 2020, 1pm – 4pm

 

Where: Belterra Community Center, 801 Belterra Dr, Austin, Texas 78737

 

Why: It’s going down at Belterra community this month: the best chili cooks in the neighborhood – nay, Dripping Springs – are going head to head to see who has the most amazing chili. This community event is open to the public. You can RSVP here.

Dripping Springs Farmer’s Market – Every Wednesday

 

When: Every Wednesday from 3 – 6pm

 

Where: The Triangle at Veteran’s Memorial Park, 151 E Mercer St, Dripping Springs, TX 78620

 

Why: Want to get top-of-the-line, locally-sourced produce and meats right in town? The Dripping Springs Farmer’s Market is your best bet. Snack on some local fare while you shop the great selection our local farmer’s have to offer. This even is held weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 3 – 6pm.

Camp Lucy’s Wine Tasting Class – Every Saturday

 

When: Saturday’s at 3pm

 

Where: Tillie’s Restaurant at Camp Lucy, 3509 Creek Rd, Dripping Springs, TX 78620

 

Why: Wine enthusiasts can get their taste on with Certified Sommelier, Clint Carter, every Saturday at Camp Lucy. This 1-hour tasting will take attendees on a sensory-rich tour through popular wine tasing regions Get tickets here.

Goat Feta and Cultured Butter Workshop and Tour at Pure Luck Dairy

 

When: Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Where: Pure Luck Dairy, 3000 Martin Rd, Dripping Springs, Texas 78620

 

Why: This is a unique event that allows Dripping Springs homeowners to visit a real-life dairy farm and learn about the cheese-making process from award-winning cheesemaker Amelia Sweethardt of Pure Luck Dairy. The event includes cheese and butter making workshops, 2 goat play sessions, and lunch and snacks provided throughout the day. The event is also BYOB. You can sign up for tickets here.
