Twin Lake Hills is an established neighborhood located north of Dripping Springs along Hamilton Pool Road, just east of it’s intersection with Highway 12. It is the center of a small collection of hill country neighborhoods and is bordered by the subdivisions of Lucky Lake Ranch, West Cave Estates, Valley Lake Hills, Mountain Creek Lakes, and Highland Creek Lakes.
Originally established in the 1990s, the community has plenty of mid-sized homes at fairly modest price range, mostly between the 300s and 500s. Residents will find a mix of contemporary homes – many built in the 90s, 00s, and 10s – along with newer more modern styles. Both are going to feature fairly abundant floor plans which is what Dripping Springs is known for. Homes in this area, generally offer square footage between 2,500 and 5,000.
I’m terms of location, the neighborhood is somewhat isolated away from any major metro areas. It is, however, on a major thoroughfare that connects the Hamilton Pool with Dripping Springs and Austin, so residents will see a fair amount of day trippers on their commute. It’s about 30 miles away from Downtown Austin and 13 miles away from Dripping Springs.
